Level 1 Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health

This 5-hour course is aimed at providing delegates with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost the person towards professional help. This course is suitable for everyone within a workplace as it provides delegates with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions as well as the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost a person towards professional help.

• Mental health conditions.

To become a qualified mental health first aider, learners should complete the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health and Level 3 Supervising First Aid for Mental Health courses.
