How much does an apprenticeship cost?
If you’re signing up as an apprentice, all you’ll need to cover is food and commuting costs. Your employer (and the government) covers all your tuition and assessment fees.
What funding support is available for employers?
The Apprenticeship Levy means that Government funding can cover up to 95% of the costs for an apprenticeship for employers. The Government can also cover up to 100% of the costs for certain training courses, too.

How do I know if I’m eligible for an apprenticeship?
Apprentices need to be aged 16 or over, living in England and not be in full-time education. EDN provides apprenticeships from levels 3-7, but the level of apprenticeship you start on will depend on the qualifications, job and experience you currently have and the apprenticeship standard your employer wants to use.
Why do I need English and maths?
Government changes mean that Functional Skills in English and maths are no longer a mandatory exit requirement for adult apprentices (19+). However, these skills remain essential for career progression workplace confidence and everyday life.

How much does an EDN short course cost?
The price of EDN short courses vary, depending on the subject. Simply click on the title and its price will be listed along with the course outline.
Are the short course qualifications CPD certified?
All of EDN’s short courses are certified and regulated by Ofqual. They all count towards active learning CPD or ‘Continuing Professional Development’.
Can I book cohort training?
Absolutely. EDN offers both online and face-to-face training for cohorts of learners from the same business or organisation. Simply speak to a member of the EDN sales team to discuss your requirements.
How is the training delivered?
EDN offers a blended learning approach. We, and our trusted educational partners, provide both face-to-face and online training, depending on which apprenticeship or short course you choose.
