As a Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) Practitioner, you’ll help shape strategies that protect the environment, support communities, and promote ethical practices. From carbon reduction to diversity and volunteering, this programme equips you to lead initiatives that make a real difference.
What is an Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner?
By completing this apprenticeship, you’ll help embed sustainable and responsible practices within your organisation’s CR&S strategy. Lead projects and campaigns that deliver real social and environmental impact, collaborating with internal teams, NGOs, charities, and government bodies.

The minimum duration is 8 months, our recommended duration for this programme is 16 months.

Cost / Funding
The cost of your apprenticeship is fully covered, with funding arranged through your employer. The value of this apprenticeship is £14,000.
Level
Level 4
Functional skills
If an apprentice is aged 16-18 and has not previously achieved the required level of English and maths, they will need to complete Functional Skills as part of their apprenticeship programme.
While Functional Skills are no longer mandatory for adult apprentices (19+), literacy and numeracy skills remain essential for success.
For those without prior English and Maths qualifications, we recommend level 1 maths and level 1 English to support career growth and workplace efficiency.
Our tailored support ensures these skills are seamlessly integrated into the apprenticeship journey, helping every apprentice develop these vital skills.
End assessment
The End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship includes:
- Professional discussion, underpinned by a portfolio of evidence
- Project proposal, presentation and questioning.
Professional support
This programme is designed to be delivered within a learning community to promote personal & career networking and peer collaboration.
Learners will be expected to attend online group sessions and 121 coaching sessions with their EDN Executive Coach.
